Mikayla's First Ever Swim - 28 October 2007

Mikayla had her first swim in Nana and G-Pa's pool yesterday and she absolutely loved it. Jessica and Daddy had a lot of fun too. It's getting harder and harder to get Jessica out of the pool!!!

More Mikayla Milestones

Well this has been a big week for Mikayla. We started her on solids which she seems to devour with great gusto and she is nearly sitting up unsupported - not bad for a baby that's not quite 6 months yet!!!!

A Day at the Coast - 15 October 2007

Today, we finally had a chance to catch up with Monika, Nikki and Zach up at the Sunshine Coast. We had a really lovely day and even attempted a swim (braving the very cool pool). Mikayla was dressed up in her gorgeous togs (courtesy of Danny, Pascale, Naomi and Yann) but it was too cold for her to have her first swim - maybe some time soon.

Mikayla's Christening - 14 October 2007

What a great day!!! Today was the day that little Mikki was welcomed by the Catholic Church at St Brendans, Moorooka and everything went off without a hitch (with the small exception of Mikayla's name being spelt Milayla) and a very tired little baby by the time we all came home for a light lunch. Jessica was the perfect angel sitting in Church and we couldn't have asked for a better behaved 2 year old (roll on Julie and Jeremy's Wedding).

Anthony and Danielle's Wedding

Anthony and Danielle McDonald got married on Saturday 6 October on Danielle's parents property (about 20 mins drive from Esk). It was a lovely wedding, a great afternoon/evening and everyone had a lot of fun.

Margo and James Visit us

A couple of weeks ago, Margo and James came to visit us. James and Jessica played very well together and had a good time playing with Barbie (which was either Julie's or mine from 25 odd years ago).
